About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager within the Regulatory Operations Servicemember Civil Relief Act (SCRA) Center of Excellence (COE) Analytics and Reporting Team. This team provides analytics and reporting that spans multiple lines of business. The team collaborates with various stakeholders including SCRA COE Operations Managers, Compliance, and Control partners to ensure compliance with the Servicemember Civil Relief Act. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading a team of analysts who support these stakeholders.This requisition will be hiring for two managers. The lines of business that would be supported and split up amongst the two managers are Cards, Retail Services, Personal Lines & Loans, Auto, Home Lending and Small Business and deposits. Required locations listed below. Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop team managers and lead multiple teams to deliver best in class finance practices to enhance business management, executing on key initiatives, and processes across products and lines of business
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute primary and secondary market research projects or results oriented intelligence that support each of the different lines of business within a major Wells Fargo business division
  • Engage and influence most experienced leaders companywide to communicate and provide strategic consultation
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for alternatives, approaches, or solutions through the use of robust financial, economic model, and complex non-models related to complex financial products, pricing strategy, regulatory standards, and other financial performance metrics and financial forecasting
  • Provide support for designing, testing, evaluating, implementing, measuring, monitoring, and managing finance models and strategies across acquisitions, account management, and collections
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Analytics team to develop business or finance policies, approval or denial strategies, business line assignment methods, collections, and recovery strategies
  • Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
  • Collaborate with and influence lines of business, business partners, Operating Committee, Chief Marketing Officer, external agencies, regulatory bodies, industry forums managers, experienced consultants, and executive management on issues with high, critical impact on the success of the company
  • Lead a team of managers, consultants, or cross functional virtual teams in accomplishing goals
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Analytics
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications:
    • 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    • 3+ years of management experienceDesired Qualifications:
      • Extensive knowledge and understanding of data, research and analysis
      • Operational Risk management experience in financial services
      • Experience managing compliance risk
      • Broad knowledge of retail banking products and systems
      • In-depth knowledge of business systems (MSP, Shaw, 1AFS, FDR, EIW, BMG, Brickyard, HOGAN) and data structures
      • Experience in conducting complex analytics and reporting; utilize superb critical thinking skills to develop accurate and actionable analyses and reports that empower partners to manager operational risk effectively
      • Experience compiling and summarizing information in a compelling way that tells a story which be shared with senior leaders within the organization
      • Experience in mining data and uncovering important information relevant to the business that might not be readily apparent
      • Ability to partner and collaborate with a diverse group of shareholders including individuals from operations, risk, audit, legal, and/or regulatory partners
      • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
      • Self-starter with the ability to acquire new concepts and skills quickly
      • Demonstrated initiative to identify business improvement opportunities and drive completion of tasks, projects, and initiatives
      • Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
      • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
      • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
      • Experience using SQL and SAS
      • Experience using Tableau
      • Experience in using Python
