Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Performs duties within the
department which require a sound knowledge of accounting principles
and theory. Promotes and establishes sound accounting procedures.
Manages staff functions and promotes the professional growth of
that staff. Maintains liaison with other departments as required.
Ensures adjustments, charges and payments are proper and are
accurately posted to respective accounts in a timely manner.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Must have sound management and leadership skills. Five years of
post-degree accounting experience and three years of supervisory
experience required. General accounting experience is
preferred.
