detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in
Gonzales, Louisiana. This is a short-term contract to permanent
position, offering the opportunity to transition into a permanent
role for the right candidate. The ideal individual will provide
essential support to office operations and logistics, demonstrating
strong organizational skills and adaptability in a collaborative
work environment. Responsibilities: • Perform general
administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. • Assist
in scheduling freight and shipping bookings efficiently. • Manage
customer order confirmations and follow-up communications. • Scan,
organize, and maintain accurate documentation. • Handle light
accounting duties and data entry tasks. • Provide support across
multiple departments as needed. • Answer inbound calls
professionally and direct them appropriately. • Coordinate
reception duties, including greeting visitors and handling
inquiries. • High school diploma or equivalent is required. •
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,
Word, and Outlook. • Strong typing skills with exceptional
attention to detail. • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to
shifting demands. • Reliable and highly organized with a
detail-oriented approach. • Excellent communication skills, both
written and verbal. • A positive attitude and a collaborative
approach to teamwork. • Interest in long-term growth within the
organization.
