Job Description:
Job Description Job Description The CDL operator is responsible
for performing various tasks which benefit and facilitate the
transfer of water from a remote source to a drilling or completions
site. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, deployment
and coupling of various lengths of lay-flat hose or polyethylene
tubing, operation of source and inline pumps, monitoring of tank
levels, movement and installation of pumps, manifolds, and sensors
from one jobsite to another, troubleshooting and maintenance of all
mechanical components utilized, and landscape maintenance in the
area of water pits and line routes. In addition to these duties,
the CDL Operator is responsible for daily inspection of equipment
and cargo for road worthiness and compliance the local, state, and
federal regulations. The CDL Operator will operate within hours of
service regulations set forth by the FMCSA and State of Texas for
an intrastate vehicle operator. Minor troubleshooting and
maintenance is expected. The CDL operator will perform standard
crew duties while not driving. An approved candidate will be
required to complete a second application as required by the FMCSA
in addition to the general employment application.
