Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced,
Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role focuses
on high-level installations and maintenance at sensitive sites,
including schools and government facilities. The ideal candidate is
a leader who can manage helpers while maintaining high standards
for pipe bending and blueprint reading. Job Duties &
Responsibilities - Commercial Installations: Install, maintain, and
repair electrical power, lighting, and control systems in
commercial and government environments. - Conduit & Pipe Bending:
Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and bending conduit (EMT, PVC,
Rigid) using hand, mechanical, or hydraulic benders. - Blueprint
Reading: Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
to plan wiring layouts and ensure code compliance. - Team
Leadership: Direct and mentor helpers or apprentices, ensuring
safety and productivity on the job site. - Site Safety: Adhere to
strict OSHA regulations and National Electrical Code (NEC)
standards, particularly when working on active school sites.
Requirements & Qualifications - State of Texas Journeyman
Electrician License is required. - Experience: Proven background as
a commercial electrician with expertise in pipe bending and
blueprint reading. - Background Check: Must be able to pass a
background check for clearance to work on school and government
property. Pay is based on experience. PTO offered after 90
days.
