Salary Range: $3,500 per course

Hours: 10 hours per week, non benefits eligible Fixed-Term Track faculty position for Summer and Fall 2024, exempt.

      Essential Functions

      Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies department at UTSA. This position would have a baseline teaching requirement of undergraduate or graduate lecture courses in the ELPS for Summer and Fall 2024.







      Required Qualifications
      • Master's degree in Educational Leadership, or related fields.
      • Demonstrate effective skills in teaching graduate level courses.
      • Successful teaching experience.




        Preferred Qualifications
        • Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership or a related field.
        • Two years or more of teaching experience at UTSA or commensurate experience at another institution.
        • Two years or more of leadership experience in K-12 school districts and/or schools; or in institutions of higher education.

        • For lecturers teaching K-12 Educational Leadership:
          • Advancing Educational Leadership(AEL) Trainer of Trainers (TOT).
          • Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) Trainer of Trainers (TOT) and/or Completed Field Supervisor Coaching Training for Advanced Certification candidates.

              Working Conditions

              This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
