Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A contracted Special Education Teacher position is
available to support students in grades 6-10 within a K-12 school
setting. This role involves delivering specialized instruction
tailored to the unique needs of students requiring special
education services, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning
environment. Location: Helotes, TX Duration: Contract, Current
School Year (CSY) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Age
Group: Grades 6-10 (Ages approximately 11-16) Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
for students with diverse learning needs. - Adapt curriculum and
instructional methods to meet students unique challenges and
learning styles. - Collaborate with general education teachers,
counselors, and families to support student success. - Monitor
student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate
regularly with stakeholders. - Foster a positive classroom
environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Special Education teaching
certification for grades 6-10. - Demonstrated experience working
with students requiring special education services. - Strong
knowledge of K-12 special education laws, regulations, and best
practices. - Effective classroom management and communication
