Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A school district in Pflugerville, TX is seeking two
dedicated special education teachers for elementary school contract
positions during the current school year (CSY). These roles focus
on delivering specialized instruction and support to young learners
with unique needs in inclusive settings. Position One: Early
Childhood Special Education Teacher Work with 3- and 4-year-old
students in an early childhood special education classroom Manage a
caseload of 4 students with support from 3 paraprofessionals
Provide skilled care including toileting and diapering Develop and
implement individualized education plans tailored to young learners
social, emotional, and developmental needs Position Two: Alternate
Curriculum Teacher Teach life skills and functional academics in a
classroom serving K-3rd graders Collaborate with 2
paraprofessionals to support students with autism and Down syndrome
Manage a program that operates across two classrooms Enhance
students independence and social skills through adaptive teaching
strategies Desired Qualifications: Valid special education
certification Experience working with early childhood or elementary
special education populations Ability to support students with
toileting and personal care needs (for the first position)
Knowledge of autism and developmental disabilities Strong
collaborative and communication skills within multidisciplinary
