A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with teletherapy experience is sought for a contract role supporting K-12 students via telespeech services. This position is based in Cibolo, TX, serving schools in the San Antonio area. The role involves direct therapy delivery and supervision tasks. Key Responsibilities: Deliver teletherapy sessions to K-12 students, utilizing virtual platforms to provide effective speech-language support. Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), including adding the SLPA to the SLP license through Texas licensing protocols. Observe therapy sessions, collect classroom data, and prepare reports to assist in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Attend IEP meetings to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on goal setting. Complete a required two-hour webinar if not previously experienced in supervising an SLPA. Qualifications and Experience: Active Texas SLP licensure is mandatory. ASHA certification preferred if clinical hours have been logged. Ability to supervise an SLPA and complete licensing edits as required. Experience ranging from entry-level (0-2 years) to advanced (10 years) is acceptable, with pay commensurate to experience. Prior school-based speech-language pathology experience is beneficial. Additional Details: This is a full-time contract position requiring 40 hours per week. Candidates must undergo a prescreen interview to assess suitability. Immediate availability is preferred, with contract dates extending to late May.
