Job Description
Confirming that new or modified equipment meets set standards and
performs as intended
Robot teaching, PLC troubleshooting and equipment
inspection/confirmation
Support TMNA Body Engineering for Body weld model change
activities
Primary project focus at TMMI and TMMTX, with possible support of
other plant location
Requirements:
2 years technical degree (A.S.) or 1 year equivalent technical work
experience.
Experience in industrial maintenance, robot programming, PLC logic
modification, and troubleshooting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Able to work up to 50% overtime including weekends, holidays, and
shutdown periods
Able to travel or dispatch up to 75% including locations across
North America, Mexico or Canada
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience with automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic
material handling
Industrial maintenance experience in a body weld shop
Experience with AGVs (automated guided vehicles)
Resource-Manager notes from previous requisition:
Looking for someone who can commit for a long-term.
Primary Location would be San Antonio, TX but need to travel and
dispatch at other factories in North America, Mexico and Canada
(TMMGT, TMMBC, TMMI, and TMMTX) based on business requirements
General working hours are Mon - Fri 7 am - 4 pm i.e. 40-hour week
but should be flexible to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and
night shifts
Should have worked in Maintenance/manufacturing factories or
industries with proficiency with MS office, strong computer skills
are required
Should know how to work on hand tools and machinery
Robotic welding is a primary job but my manager will take
candidates with any Robotics experience.
Electrical and controls experience is a plus
