Job Description:
Who We Are:The Low Carbon Technologies section works on
decarbonization and sustainability topics for the transportation
sector. Our goal is to help our clients develop and reduce
greenhouse gas emissions from mobility systems. We research,
develop, simulate, and test a wide range of technologies.Objectives
of this Role:Help us chart the course of the automotive industry as
an advocate for the role of multiple powertrain solutions for the
transportation and mobility sectors.Work closely with key
government and industry partners by providing valuable insight and
guidance in a rapidly changing automotive landscape.Interact with
other experts within the department to gain a wholistic view of all
aspects of the modern automotive powertrain both passenger and
commercial.Stay abreast of the latest developments through regular
publications and conference attendance.Daily and Monthly
Responsibilities:Define and manage project studies relating to
decarbonizing the transport sector, including but not limited to
low-carbon fuels for internal combustion engines, life-cycle
analysis, fuel-cells and carbon-capture.Review government and
consultancy documentation to understand the interaction between
regulations, future technologies, and energy landscape.Monitor
technical publications to ensure modelling efforts are using
up-to-date information for simulation efforts.Where required work
with technicians and lab staff in specification, procurement,
setup, and operation of test equipment.Provide direction and
mentorship to junior staff through detailed work instructions,
appropriate monitoring, and constructive
feedback.Requirements:Requires a Bachelors in Mechanical
Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Energy & Sustainability or
similar.6-10 years: Experience with decarbonization and
sustainability topics in transportation on industrial markets OR
experienced background in internal combustion engineering or
general powertrain engineering topics.2-5 years: Prior experience
with project management preferred with demonstrated ability to meet
project deadlines within budgetary constraints.A valid/clear
driver's license is
