Job Description:
Who We Are:The Automotive Propulsion Systems Department works to
better the world by improving efficiency and reducing energy
consumption of mobility systems. We research, develop and test a
wide range of technologies including electric, fuel-cell, hybrid,
combustion and connected vehicles and power systems.Objectives of
this Role:Manage research, development, or testing projects
involving vehicle drivetrain systems and rotating equipment.Work
closely with laboratory staff to create test plans and oversee test
programs.Interact with other experts within the department to gain
a wholistic view of all aspects of the modern automotive
powertrain.Promote department capabilities to potential customers
to pursue new business/project opportunities.Check out our team at:

and Monthly Responsibilities:Work effectively with engineers,
project managers and lab staff in specification, procurement,
setup, and operation of test equipment.Support research activities
through test cell setup, fixture design, instrumentation, data
acquisition and control system operation, test cell operation,
troubleshooting, data analysis and reporting.Manage multiple
assignments concurrently with limited supervision.Manage projects
and meet project deadlines with budgetary constraints.Work directly
with customers, including preparing bids for promotional/proposal
efforts, participating in customer meetings and producing reports
and presentations with project findings.Requirements:Requires a
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or
Electrical Engineering.2+ years with BS, 1+ year with MS: Practical
experience with vehicle drivetrain system research, development, or
testing.2-5 years: Ability to work in an engineering team
environment consisting of senior and junior engineers and technical
staff.2-5 years: Project management skills are required. Must
display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Technical
creativity and self-motivation are required.2-5 years: Experience
with MS Office, Matlab, Python, LabView, Simulink, GT-Suite or
similar is beneficial.A valid/clear driver's license is
