Job Description:

EzBel Construction, a leader in innovative and customized construction solutions, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our Engineering and Design team. At EzBel, we pride ourselves on excellence in home renovations and large-scale projects, emphasizing superior workmanship and client-centric services. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost assessments and budget formulations to enhance project feasibility and execution. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and identifying cost-affecting factors. Assess the feasibility of project plans and comply with financial objectives by studying project concepts, budgets, and scope. Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and client teams to gather and vet pricing information. Evaluate subcontractor proposals and assist in selecting vendors based on cost, work quality, and reliability. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and standards related to cost estimation. Prepare regular budget reports, and updates for management and clientele, highlighting potential financial or production risks. Participate in bids and project proposals, providing timely and accurate financial information and competitive analysis. Expertise in cost estimation software such as CostX, Planswift or similar. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent preferred. Relevant software certifications are advantageous.
