to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to our
mission of shaping communities through innovative civil engineering
design and site development permitting strategy on meaningful,

grow with us. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination
– Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
while aligning with client expectations and regulatory
requirements. Client Relations & Communication – Serve as the
primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication
on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Regulatory
Compliance & Permitting – Work with PE of records to navigate
zoning, environmental, and municipal regulations, ensuring that
designs meet local, state, and federal requirements. Work with GL
and DOE to bring in expertise needed from outside the project team
such as Nhat and Fayez and other engineers within the firm. Project
Oversight – Collaborate with PE of records to ensure the
development of plans, spec, and other engineering work products
meet contractual requirements, permitting, coordination with other
consultants, and construction adequacy within project timeline and
budget. Escalate to Groupleader and DOE as needed for additional
resources or contract adjustments or client expectations
adjustments as needed by communicating timely and effectively using
multiple forms of communication if necessary. Budget & Cost Control
– Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay
within financial constraints while maintaining profitability. Mark
up invoices, participate in the AR collection process with the
accounting team. Identity scope creep and prepare add service
proposals. Escalate major scope issues to GL, DOE as required in a
timely manner. Schedule & Deadline Management – Establish project
schedules, monitor milestones, and adjust plans to keep projects on
track. Communicate in written and verbal forms if milestones are
consistently missed to GL and DOE for additional resources. PM may
be required to perform work and coordination with the project team
outside of standard 40 hour work week in order to catch up to
missed milestones if necessary. Manage team members’ PTO and
holidays to ensure project timely delivery. Communicate early,
often and effectively to GL and DOE if milestones cannot be met due
to scope gaps and/or unreasonable expectations. Prepare
communication to clients with DOE support if needed to communicate
to the client in a timely manner. Team Leadership & Coordination –
Oversee junior engineers, drafters, and technical staff, delegating
tasks effectively and providing mentorship. Stakeholder & Agency
Coordination – Work with municipalities, permitting agencies,
utility providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project
approvals. Risk Management & Problem-Solving – Identify potential
project risks and proactively implement solutions to mitigate
delays or budget overruns. Construction Support & Field
Coordination – Collaborate with contractors, conduct site visits,
respond to RFIs, and ensure adherence to design plans. Quality
Control & Assurance – Review engineering designs, calculations, and
reports to maintain high technical standards and compliance.
Communicate to PE of records of concerns to correct. Escalate to GL
or DOE as needed for additional QAQC. Proposal & Contract
Development – Assist in preparing project proposals, scopes of
work, and contract negotiations to secure new business. Invoice &
Financial Oversight – Review and approve project invoices, track
billable hours, and coordinate with accounting to ensure timely
payments. Technology & Process Improvement – Stay updated on
industry software, engineering methodologies, and project
management tools to improve efficiency. Community & Public
Engagement – Represent the company in public meetings, hearings,
and industry events, advocating for responsible land development.
Requirements 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a
proven track record in land development and project management.
Exceptional proficiency in civil engineering software, including
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and pertinent design tools. Solid leadership and
interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage teams
and client relationships effectively. Comprehensive understanding
of civil engineering principles, standards, and regulations. Strong
analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective in
client and stakeholder engagement. Commitment to sustainable
engineering practices and community-focused project delivery.
