Total Energy Solutions Company, LLC provides critical power solutions for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities. Our customers depend on reliable power - and we depend on skilled, experienced generator technicians to deliver it. We are hiring a Generator Technician Level 3 to support our San Antonio operations. This is a senior-level field position for technicians with 5-10 years of hands-on generator experience . This role is not entry-level and is intended for professionals who already know the generator industry. Why Experienced Technicians Choose Total Energy Solutions Work exclusively with generator systems - no unrelated HVAC or facilities work Stable, long-term customers and consistent workload Modern equipment, quality tools, and strong operational support Leadership that understands generator systems and respects technician expertise Clear expectations, professional environment, and safety-first culture What You'll Do Install, commission, service, and repair industrial and commercial generator systems Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and load bank testing Troubleshoot engines, alternators, wiring, switches, batteries, and controls Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures Respond to service calls, startups, and emergency repairs Accurately document service work and complete required paperwork Work directly with customers in a professional, solutions-focused manner Participate in a shared, scheduled on-call rotation Required Experience & Qualifications 5-10 years of hands-on generator technician experience Proven experience working for a generator service or installation company Strong mechanical and electrical generator knowledge Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair ability Experience with ATS systems and load bank testing Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or GED Ability to travel locally and work in demanding field environments Preferred Experience Experience with Cummins, Kohler, Generac, CAT , or similar industrial generators Manufacturer certifications or EGSA certification Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or critical-power facilities Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Excellent benefits and employee incentives Long-term stability with a growing company (Pay discussed early in the process for qualified Level 3 technicians.)
