Job Description Job Description Job Title: Aircraft Electrician
Job Description As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible
for performing avionics troubleshooting, installations, repairs,
maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical
systems of F/A-18 aircraft. Your role will include upgrades to the
Radar Package, Communications/Comm Sec equipment, and other
potential enhancements. Responsibilities Conduct avionics
troubleshooting for F/A-18 aircraft. Install and repair avionics
and electrical systems. Perform maintenance and modifications on
aircraft electrical systems. Execute upgrades to Radar Package and
Communications/Comm Sec equipment. Work with fiber optic cables and
installations. Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring
harnesses. Essential Skills 4 - 7 years of depot/heavy maintenance
experience on aircraft electrical systems. Experience with F-18
aircraft is highly preferred. Knowledge of Avionics systems and
installation. Expertise in operational-level maintenance (O-Level
Maintenance). Eligibility for SECRET clearance. Must be eligible
for Boeing badge (no terminations on record with Boeing).
Additional Skills & Qualifications Navy Ratings of AE or AT are
highly preferred. Experience with Fighter Jets is preferred. NAV -

position requires flexibility to work on either 1st or 2nd shift.
You will primarily work inside a hangar, with some tasks on the
flightline. The hangar is non-climate controlled, but you will not
be exposed to outside elements. Job Type & Location This is a
Contract position based out of Floresville, TX. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
