- San Antonio, TX TTL, Inc. has a need for a full-time,
geotechnical field logger. This full-time position provides
technical field support for geotechnical engineering projects for
both private and public sectors. This person must have a good
safety record and be able to communicate effectively with other
team members and clients. Primary responsibilities include:
Collecting soil samples Preparing field boring logs Conduct field
testing on collected soil samples and record pertinent drilling
information Locate and stake boring locations Notify utility
locators of proposed drilling locations Conduct field electrical
earth resistivity testing Ensure general safety of drilling crew
Participate in safety meetings Requirements Must have a valid
driver’s license and a safe driving record H.S. Diploma or GED
equivalent Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
environment Must be able to work in all types of weather and field
conditions Must be able to work outside typical daily 8 am to 5 pm
hours Must be able to travel for extended periods of time Must have
basic computer skills for time and expense entry Must be able to
communicate effectively with fellow employees and drillers Must be
able to read plans and maps Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be
able to travel between Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
Schedule is 12 days on 4 days off cycle Job Type: Full-time This
position is subject to a pre-employment drug and motor vehicle
