Job Description:
San Marcos Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep is seeking an experienced,
dedicated and technical-focused Shop Foreman to lead our team of
technicians. You will be responsible for overseeing daily
operations, managing staff, and maintaining a safe and efficient
workshop. You will act as a liaison between the Service Manager,
Service Advisors and Technicians. Responsibilities Dispatch work
orders to technicians based on skill level and efficiency, ensuring
optimal shop flow and meeting deadlines. Provide hands-on
assistance with complex diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting,
and difficult repairs. Monitor shop performance and implement
strategies for improvement Enforce all safety policies (OSHA) and
ensure the shop remains clean and organized. Interact with
customers to address any concerns and maintain satisfaction Oversee
inventory, order supplies, and maintain shop equipment Work closely
with Service Advisors to communicate status updates to customers
and support the parts department on inventory needs. Requirements 5
Years of prior experience in automotive repair and leadership roles
2 Years Stellantis technician experience Advanced diagnostics
capability (specifically electrical and computerized systems).
Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work
in a fast-paced environment and manage a team effectively
Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (Dealertrack,
Dealerconnect preferred) Attention to detail and problem-solving
abilities Must have a clean driving record and valid DL. Must be
willing to complete a background check and possible drug test
