Financial client is looking to hire a dynamic and passionate SNOW /
ServiceNow Administrator / Developer to support their Application
Performance & Reliability reporting to Enterprise Applications
Support team based in PA in a full-time (100% remote) capacity. The
experienced ServiceNow Event Manager Administrator/ Developer will
help administer, configure and monitor the ITOM and Event
Management SNOW modules. You will assist in creating business alert
and event rules scripts that allow help mapping infrastructure to
the applications and services to assess (business) impact to
services within SNOW of the systems being monitored so that they
can communicate and escalate the right remediation action taken.
This understanding allows for the assessment and impact of changes
on existing functionality and future upgrades. Where You're
Located: 100% remote. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of experience
developing / administration and configuration/DevOp of ServiceNow
(SNOW) Platform and applications. Experience creating alerts in
Kibana, Elasticsearch API Integration and/or CI/CD (familiarity
with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools such as
Git and utilize Agile principals) Strong ITOM experience,
specifically Event Management module and any experience with other
modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITBM, ITAM, Security Operations, and/or
GRC. Good familiarity with creating and configuring Business Rules,
UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced
scripting when necessary. Have built ServiceNow Event Management
rules/workflows for Elasticsearch, Solarwinds, New Relic, and other
server/database platforms. Strong experience with root cause
analysis and problem management Understanding of SNMP traps and
MIBs/OIDs Some ability or desire to learn how to modify and create
server-side object-oriented JavaScript, JSON, Regular Expressions
(RegEx) Experience automating repeatable tasks using one or more
scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash or Python. Experience
using Postman or other methods to exercise rest API. Proficient
with SQL. And good understanding of database and networking
concepts. Previous experience with upgrades such as Jakarta,
London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, San Diego Collaborate with multiple
business units on technology and business flow, and ability to
clearly communicate with team, SME and leadership Familiarity
experience with Incident Management and Change Management workflows
Problem-solving and analytical abilities, strong customer service
and interpersonal skills. Experience with Agile software
development lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Work
efficiently within a highly collaborative team environment with the
ability and desire to write clean and clear documentation Bachelor
of Sciences Degree or equivalent years of experience Certifications
highly preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator; ITIL
v3 Foundation or higher certification. Received any training on:
ServiceNow Fundamentals, ServiceNow Event Management Fundamentals,
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist --- Event
Management, ServiceNow Health Log Analytics Fundamentals,
Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals
Responsibilities Configure and implement ServiceNow solutions using
scripting as well as leveraging all appropriate components offered
by ServiceNow to meet specific business needs Develop user
interface elements for Web-based applications based on program
specifications using JavaScript Perform analysis, development and
automation of various ITSM processes, including Incident
Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Service Request
and Configuration Develop workflow customizations and perform
quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing Loading of
the data into ServiceNow using import sets Development and
customization of Service Catalog Items and Workflows Write and
develop complex transform scripts in transforming the data into the
SNOW database Maintain, update and enhance ITSM/ITOM environment
including Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Knowledge
Management, Service Catalog, Service Portals, SLAs, Event
Management, Discovery, Service Mapping and Integrations. Build
ServiceNow Event Management rules/workflows for Elasticsearch,
Solarwinds, New Relic, and other server/database platforms. Ensure
critical alerts are processed and incidents are generated. Monitor
health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its
applications; Support performance and reliability platforms,
Monitor and track the performance of the network and server. --
Participate in the implementation and configuration of various
ServiceNow products to increase the adoption of the ServiceNow
platform. Responsible for performing daily administration, issue
resolution, and troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform.
Understand IT and business requirements with ability to develop,
test, deploy improvements, and update workflows based on
requirements. Manage and administer lists, filters, forms, platform
interfaces (to other data sources) and the data within tables,
import sets and the CMDB. Create and configure Business Rules, UI
Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced
scripting when necessary. Create and configure Notifications, UI
pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.
Participate in Agile Scrum meetings including sprint planning---s,
backlog grooming---s and retrospectives during two-week sprints
