Purpose of JobWe are seeking a talented IT Hardware Asset Management Senior for our San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC Or Tampa, FL facility. This position may also have the option of working remotely in the U.S.

The candidate selected for this position is going to get work with the Hardware Asset Management Team in USAA's IT Business Services.

The person selected for this role must be highly skilled in IT asset management with deep experience and understanding of IT Hardware Asset Management lifecycle processes, systems, data, and Regulatory & Compliance frameworks in support of a financial institution. The individual will lead and govern the IT Hardware Asset Management lifecycle business processes specifically around Leased Assets, support operational metrics, and maintain effective risk management routines. Additionally, this individual will assist in process improvement, develops business solutions, contributes, and executes short-term and long-term strategies and initiatives.

Provides complex analytical, business, and technical support related to strategic business functions, process, and applications/IT platforms. Leads and participates in efforts supporting business analysis and decision-making processes including creating, implementing, and maintaining application solutions to meet the needs of a business or organization.   • Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
  • Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities. -
  • Advises and provides analytical support and recommendations to stakeholders making decisions related to business and application/IT platform direction and modifications, taking into account current and future business needs and opportunities.
  • Maintains advanced understanding of business processes, applications/IT platform and strategic direction and advises customers on and facilitates the identification, research, and analysis of application/IT platform and technology solutions.
  • Collaborates and exchanges information with team members, stakeholders, and information services to ensure dependencies, risks, and opportunities are identified and addressed.
  • Researches complex business issues requiring advanced knowledge of business principles and theories.
  • Responsible for analyzing and participates in documenting business requirements for application/IT platform and data systems and directing the testing and implementation of new systems or changes to current system as required to meet contractual needs and improve processes.
  • Leads and participates in the design and administration of standards and policies regarding application/IT platform and end user customer documentation.
  • Provides input and participates in establishing system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for systems and applications/IT platform.
  • Provides work direction and coaching to team members and may provide input on performance and development plans.Minimum requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
    • 6 years of work experience in analyzing IT business processes, software application/IT platform design and/or IT documentation, with an understanding of application/IT platform data systems and operations processes.
    • Demonstrated understanding of application/IT platform administration and the software development life cycle, to include testing execution.
    • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation related to workflow and business requirements, as well as technical functionality of IT applications/IT platform.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
    • Knowledge of risk & controls with experience identifying and fixing gaps, documenting controls and testing of those controls.When you apply for this position, you will be required to answer some initial questions.       • 4+ years of experience in IT Hardware Asset Lifecycle processes: Plan, Acquire, Receive, Manage and Dispose.
      • Experience with Lease Asset Management practices.
      • Working knowledge IT Asset Management systems, ServiceNow, Procurement Oracle Cloud.
      • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to analyze complex asset data attributes and produce operational reporting.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this skill is: $88,200.00- $158,900.00* Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors. Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
