It's an opportunity to do your life's best work.(sm) The Senior Manager, Marketing and Sales Enablement will partner across the marketing function and directly with the sales leadership to develop and deliver comprehensive sales support, including strategy, account based marketing, conference and event logistical support, and lead generation. The ideal candidate has experience planning and executing lead gen programs, is creative, analytical, and has excellent communications and project management skills. Given the complex and varied nature of our client relationships, long buying timeline and high value of these potential contract/renewals, outreach plans created will include establishing the right combination of high-touch, relationship-building initiatives and solutions messaging. Initially an individual contributor, this position is a people manager role in anticipation of future department growth needs. This is a remote position, reporting to the Vice President, Marketing of Optum Home and Community. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong understanding of target audiences, business drivers and competitive forces
  • Plan, execute, measure and optimize ABM programs (1:1 and 1:few), in collaboration with sales leadership, leveraging digital and tactile marketing logistics
  • Identify micro-segmentation opportunities and tactics whenever relevant
  • Participate in strategic planning with account owners/teams to understand goals and program requirements, and translate into lead generation strategies
  • Own conference and event strategy, logistics, execution and follow-up
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across marketing teams to identify the most effective messages, materials, channels and calls to action for personas within target accounts
  • Recommend optimization strategies to improve outcomes on lead generation efforts
  • Manage project timelines, quality, resources and budget
  • Willingness to initiate telephonic follow-up, if needed, to support marketing campaigns
  • Ability to support the generation of marketing materials including sales presentations
  • Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Required Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of experience in marketing or customer engagement programs with track record of successful results
    • 3+ years doing ABM for mid-to-large enterprise accounts, preferably within health care
    • Experience in employing marketing communication strategies to nurture and engage throughout the buyer's journey
    • Experience with martech stack, including Marketo, Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Preferred Qualifcations:
      • Experience in a regulated industry
      • Demonstrated effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
      • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities from inception to completion
      • Excellent written & verbal communications skills
      • Well-organized, results-oriented self-starter
      • Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively
      • Creative and analytical

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
