Position SummaryThis position will ensure compliance with processes, policies, and best practices to coincide with the company's commitment to the employee experience. This role is also responsible for collecting, modeling, and analyzing data to inform leadership (including the Board of Directors) of the status of key HR metrics that will enable the company to achieve its' strategic results. This position requires a highly adaptable individual who is not intimidated in the face of ambiguity and is equal parts proactive and collaborative.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Responsible for compiling and analyzing HR metrics
  • Identify key people trends and insights using HR analytics and external best practices to develop customized and well-informed tactics for driving desired behaviors and business outcomes
  • Ensure completion of HR compliance tasks across entire function, and complete any assigned tasks
  • Utilize HR systems to access and compile data
  • Monitor possible areas of HR-related compliance risk and implements plans for the resolution of current and potential problems
  • Develop, maintain, and update HR policies and procedures, including the employee handbook, safety manual, and other policies. Provide updates to HR Project Manager for inclusion and communication as necessary.
  • Administer record retention system and manage vendor relationship
  • Lead selection of new record retention platform and solutions
  • Assist in the administration of background check platform(s)
  • Develop and maintain pre-employment screening matrix per contract requirements. Establish or update new screening packages or platforms as required, in partnership with Manager of Recruitment.
  • Initiate random drug test and background checks for existing employees per compliance and/or contract/policy requirements
  • Continuous improvement of HR and systems processes to ensure high standards of efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance
  • Maintain compliance with related federal, state, and local requirements
  • Advises HR leadership on a broad range of HR-related federal and state regulatory and compliance matters, including advising of new developments in compliance, identifying areas of risk, and making suggestions for improvement
  • Administer survey platform for HR, including the creation of new surveys, updates to existing surveys, and results reporting
  • Identify and develop HR Standard Operating Procedures and HR Best Practices
  • Contribute to Sustainability Plan and Diversity & Inclusion Roundtable metrics and initiatives
  • Respond to SOC compliance reporting requests
  • Ensure accuracy of employee and other data, including completion of quarterly data audits from HRIS platform
  • Collaborate with legal team to handle related employment law policies
  • Collaborate on and contribute to engagement and retention activities with various HR team members
  • Identify, create, implement, and administer employee policies
  • Identify ways to improve existing policies and procedures
  • Monitor, review, and update all HR policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation
  • Participate in HR planning and budgeting
  • Contribute to establishment of HR OKRs and diversity targets
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates
  • Administer the HR SharePoint sites
  • Suggesting new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations (e.g. ATS and HRIS software)Position RequirementsEducation and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 7 years' experience in human resources, professional development, and training, or employee relations required
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
