About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control
Management Specialist for the CAO / Regulatory & Policy Affairs
Program Integration Team. In this role, you will:
- Provide risk management consulting to support the business in
designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business
processes, and business controls.
- Execute the Issue Management policy/procedures/guidelines, and
any associated policies and procedures such as RCSA, Internal
Control and Escalations as applicable.
- The candidate will also work closely with the Business-aligned
Control leaders, Independent Risk Management, and other partners in
the execution of company risk priorities and issue management
program deliverables.
- Create, execute and support reporting and leadership
materials.
- Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability
to develop partnerships with many functional areas, provide insight
into the risk management and issue climate, and identify trends and
themes which may present opportunities within enterprise functions.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience,
or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the
following: work experience, training, military experience,
education Desired Qualifications:
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal
formats, with senior executive-level leaders
- Ability to handle confidential material in a professional
manner
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- SharePoint and Centralized Analytics and Risk Aggregation Tool
(CARAT) experience
- Issue Management Experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and
accuracy
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner both
verbally and in written materials
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across
all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and
adaptability are important
- Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
- Experience with Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) Job Expectations:
- The ability to travel up to 10% of the time
