Job Summary:
Responsible for leading, executing and delivery of valuation engagements by participating in all aspects of projects, from the initial proposal preparation, through project completion.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Plans, prepares, directs, and completes assigned tasks in an efficient manner and within allotted timeframes.
  
• Consults with clients in all aspects of the valuation process.
  
• Documents procedures performed, findings and/or other issues and drafts/compiles work papers, reports and client correspondence exhibiting effective writing skills.
  
• Plans the scope of work for engagements, oversee day-to-day activities, assume responsibility for quality control and accuracy of client deliverables, and effectively manage risk associated with engagements.
  
• Articulates deal issues and documents accounting issues clearly with a concise writing style for the preparation of reports.
  
• Performs review of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes.
  
• Supervises, mentors and trains staff; provide timely and effective performance feedback and training.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  Required Skills/Abilities:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
    
  • CPA licensed with ABV, CVA or other valuation industry credentials preferred.
    
  • 3-5 years of direct experience delivering business valuations, transaction advisory, litigation and forensic services with an accounting, litigation, or consulting firm.
    
  • Prior experience with business valuations in the context of Texas Family Law, Estate and Gift Taxes.
