Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial statements.3. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.4. Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.5. Liaise with our Accounting department and senior management to improve financial performance.6. Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.7. Implement and improve systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.9. Use RealPage software efficiently for property management accounting tasks.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction, real estate, or property management industries.3. Proficiency in accounting software, with a strong emphasis on RealPage.4. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.5. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.6. Professional certification such as CMA, CPA is a plus.7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.9. Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in managing a team.10.
