DescriptionSummary:This position manages the medication use process in collaboration with the Medical Staff and Nursing Services by organizing the processes and functions of the Pharmacy Department efficiently, economically, and professionally in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policy and applicable federal and state legal requirements. This position fosters the development of Pharmaceutical Care through process improvement of distributive and clinical pharmacy services.CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest growing area of San Antonio. Specialized care includes orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, womens services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and more.
