for you & your familyThe Director of Front Office will oversee the
daily operations of the Front Desk team to maximize revenue and
guest satisfaction.What will you be doing?
- Assist the Director of Rooms with interviewing, hiring, and
training Front Office staff according to Brand and Hotel standards
for a luxury setting.
- Conduct performance evaluations, resolve issues, communicate
openly, and recommend discipline or termination when
necessary.
- Respond to guest requests, needs, and concerns to ensure high
levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop and implement company programs, supervise daily Front
Desk operations to ensure SOPs and LSOPs are followed, maximize
revenue, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
- Understand GSS and MVR scores and their impact on hotel
success.
- Supervise Guest Service Agents, Bell Staff, and Transportation
Services.
- Remain calm during emergencies or busy periods, serve as a role
model, resolve customer issues through thorough research and
effective solutions, and make informed decisions, including revenue
allowances when appropriate.
- Adhere to attendance policies and be available for scheduled
shifts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.What is required?
- Knowledge of LightSpeed, MGS Marsha (Preferred)
- At least 2+ years of experience in a rooms division leadership
role
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends,
and holidays
- Strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and a focus
