Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the overall Clinical Operations of the University Center
for Community Health activities. Complies with and enforces
University Health System policies and procedures. Develops and
implements clinical protocols, practice guidelines and preventive
guidelines assists with development of curriculum and diabetes
patient education materials. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in either Nursing, Business or related field is
required. A master's degree in nursing or related field is
preferred. At least 2 years recent experience in health care
setting required. Clinical nursing management in management of
chronic illnesses, knowledge of accreditation standards and
regulatory requirements preferred. Familiarity of information
system and computer system is required. Two years of managerial
experience preferred. LICENSURE
If applicable, must be a registered nurse currently licensed in the
State of Texas
