QTC is seeking -CAOHC Technicians (Audiology Tech) -for our
-Reserve Health Readiness Program III (RHRP-3) -group events in the
mid-west region.
-
-This position is ON-CALL and primarily on weekends. This position
will require you to travel 100% of the time.
-
What is Reserve Health Readiness Program III (RHRP - 3)?
RHRP-3 provides health readiness support services, such as mental
health assessments and post-deployment health reassessments, to the
military Reserve Components nationwide and Active Duty Components
in remote areas. Health assessments services are performed by group
events, in-clinic individual appointments, and by providing call
center support.
What part would you play in this role?
-As a -CAOHC Technician (Audiology Tech), you will perform
comprehensive audiometric evaluations as directed by an audiologist
for the RHRP-3 military events throughout the Mid-West region.
In this rewarding role, you will also: -
- Maintain safe and sanitized areas, following guidelines for
instrument storage and sterilizations
- Perform a variety of audiometric procedures to include pure
tone audiometric testing, data entry, and administrative
functions
- Assist Audiologist with audiometric testing procedures
- Utilize computerized and manual equipment to perform
tests
- Check and calibrate audiometric instruments and equipment;
calibrates audiometric equipment on a daily basis
- Saves and reports results
- Responsible for reviewing patient medical record
documentation
- Counsel patients regarding audiometric test results and provide
hearing health education
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
-You must have:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree from an
accredited college in engineering or biomedical equipment
technology preferred
- MUST have CAOHC certification -
- 0 to 1 year of audiology or hearing technology experience

- Must be able to travel and work weekend events at various
Military installations around the U.S.
Following Shot Series Must be current:
- Must show PROOF of TB test less 12 months old
- Must show PROOF Flu vaccine within last 12 months
- Must show PROOF Hep B series 2 or 3 or lab result called
quantitative Titre test
- -Typical Day/Travel: -
- During events: 6:30am - 5:00pm
- Must have weekend availability as events occur mostly during
the weekend with additional weekdays
- Ability to travel, predominately working on weekends able to
travel up to two (2) days prior to the start of an event
- Must be able to travel throughout the Mid-West Region of the
U.S.
- -North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa,
Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan
-Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $35.00 hourly
- Per Diem authorized in accordance with Joint Travel Regulation
(JTR)
- QTC Management will coordinate and pay for all associated
travel for events -
