Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered NurseCurrent Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)Current American Heart Association BLS Certification This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved). Nephrology Unit Highlights: 32 bedPatient to Nurse ratio is 1:5, utilizes team nursing with LVNs and seasoned PCT support; with a free Charge Nurse Provide highly skilled nursing care for patient with acute and chronic kidney failure requiring in-patient hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis and other comorbidities, including, CHF, DM, PNA, and other podiatry care.The staff are happy and engaged leading to effective patient throughput and low turnover,Highly supportive staff to new residents and LVNsStrong team oriented environment with excellent nurse leadership support Methodist Hospital Metropolitan houses 370 bed.
