Today!Job Summary and Qualifications The Progressive Care
Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality,
patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the
RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN
serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled
patient experience.\n What you will do in this role: You will
consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills,
scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to
independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.You will
collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient
outcomesYou will provide communication, confidence, and
professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and
organizational activitiesYou will demonstrate team work,
adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care teamYou
will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care
services and for promoting a positive image of nursing What
qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited diploma,
associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed
Registered NurseCurrent Registered Nurse License in the State of
Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact
License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of
hire date)Current American Heart Association BLS Certification This
role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on
local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical
or religious exemption is approved). Specialty Surgical Progressive
Care Unit Highlights: 40 bed unit Patient-to-nurse Ratio is 4:1 (
with PCT support) Caring for a wide variety of post-surgical
patients, some example are: Tracheal Esophageal Surgeries
Colorectal Surgeries Tracheostomy Laryngectomy Thyroidectomy Breast
Surgery Lung Surgery Complex abdominal related procedures Urology
Woundvacs Tele capable unit Dedicated Education unit where nursing
students are routinely present completing clinicals Highly
