Examples of some of the patients seen on the unit include: --- Acute and Chronic Respiratory Failure, Renal Failure, DKA, GI Bleed, Post-Resuscitation, COVID-19, Sever Sepsis, and CRRT patients. The MICU team culture promotes a positive team atmosphere and partners with their sister unit, LRICU and which will allow the ability to rotate to learn and grow between a wider patient population --- Unit culture thrives on diversity and collaboration across multiple teams dedicated to support and nurturing of every member on the unit. Leadership emphasizes the education and growth of their team. The ideal MICU team member has a desire to learn, grow and strengthen their ICU skills. \n What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree nursing programCurrent RN License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)Current American Heart Association BLS Certification This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
