Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Staff Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN Summary The RN Shift Supervisor is part of the departmental leadership team that provides clinical supervision on a shift basis including: coordination and assignment of patient care; functions as a unit patient flow coordinator, facilitating admissions, discharges and transfers; coordinates unit staffing for next shift with the Director/Clinical Manager, Coordinator and/or House Officer; serves as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff; provides supervisory input into department staff evaluations and performance reviews. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Education Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree) Experience Required: 1 year RN experience. Certifications Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
