TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in San Antonio, Texas, 78258 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted) Certifications: Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Fetal monitoring - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - BLS - ACLS - NRP - 2 years of hospital/specialty experience Job Description: - Consistently apply nursing processes, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients. - Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. - Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, and active engagement in unit and organizational activities. - Exhibit teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. - Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing. - Floating as needed per facility policies. - Use Meditech documentation system. - Perform vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections. - Follow the dress code: Navy scrub top and pant, navy or white scrub jacket. - Maintain clean and healthy nails, neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. - Ensure body art is covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. 25933455EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
