Job SummaryThe UT Health San Antonio is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) III to join our Advanced Care Clinic team on a part-time day shift basis.Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional direct patient nursing care to a diverse patient population, utilizing expertise in a specialty area.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Coach and mentor department staff in clinical and professional practice, promoting excellence in patient care.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team, modeling compassionate communication and assuming leadership responsibilities at the bedside, unit, and institution levels.
• Lead unit and shared governance activities, serve as charge nurse as needed, and assess unit needs for practice and improvement opportunities.RequirementsThis role requires a licensed staff nurse with advanced clinician skills, functioning at the Proficient level.
