Job SummaryThe Acute Care RN III is a highly skilled and experienced nurse who provides expert care to patients with complex surgical needs. As a leader in the unit, this nurse assumes a high level of responsibility for patient care, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse population, including those with complex surgical needs.
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including charge nurse duties and unit governance activities.
• Coach and mentor staff in clinical and professional practice areas.
• Model compassionate communication with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team.
• Contribute to unit and hospital-wide education initiatives.RequirementsThis role requires a high level of expertise in nursing practice, leadership, and communication.
