Job Summary and Qualifications The Program Coordinator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team and serves as an advocate and educator for the maternal patients. The Program Coordinator's primary function is to ensure the patient, staff and physicians have the informational and educational needs for the treatment plan. The Program Coordinator achieves this goal by building relationships with patients and physicians, education, and/or representation within the multidisciplinary care environment. The Program Coordinator also assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of resources to achieve efficient, high-quality outcomes for patients, including support with interdisciplinary and cross-facility coverage and collaboration. The Program Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the patient and family; all physicians involved in with patient's care, internal and external healthcare providers, support network members, and the wider healthcare community. This role will require collaboration with local physician liaisons and leadership to provide formal/informal staff education and to evaluate teaching effectiveness through feedback from staff and multidisciplinary team members. What qualifications you will need:
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Registered Nurse
    • Bachelors Degree
    • Minimum five years recent professional experience in Labor and Delivery.
