Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transfer Center team at Baptist Health System. As a Transfer Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating patient transfers between hospitals and healthcare facilities.Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct admissions and hospital transfers to and from community hospitals
• Work collaboratively with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staffs to foster relationships and represent the Tenet Healthcare Mission and Values
• Serve as a clinical resource for non-nursing transfer center staff, making clinical decisions and documenting patient information
• Maintain working knowledge of EMTALA and other regulations governing patient transfers
• Utilize applicable systems to facilitate bed flow and expedite patient placementRequirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 4 years of experience in an acute care setting
