Language Pathologist Assistantare listed below.*Job Summary: *The
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant's main function is to provide
coordinated speech therapy to patients/clients of all age groups
under the supervision of a Licensed Speech Language
Pathologist.*Duties and Responsibilities: ** Administers the speech
therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language
Pathologist.* Applies concepts of infection control and standard
precautions in performing patient/client care activities.* Accepts
clinical assignments that are consistent with education and
competence to care for patients/clients.* Uses effective
interpersonal relations and communication skills to provide
patient/client and caregiver education.* Participates in the Agency
sponsored in-service training.* Promotes compliance with all fiscal
intermediary and/or other third-party payors, through education,
coaching, and other assistance, as necessary.* Demonstrates
commitment, professional growth, and
competency.*Qualifications/Experience: *Education: Graduate from a
school of speech therapy assistant with a bachelors degree in
speech therapy.Licensure: Active state license as a speech therapy
assistant. Current drivers license.Experience: One year experience
as a speech therapy assistant, preferred. Proof of current CPR
certification and Hepatitis profile.Transportation: Reliable
transportation and valid auto liability insurance.Language skills:*
Ability to read and write English.* Bilingual Preferred*Physical
Requirements: *The ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling,
pushing, and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required.
Requires workingunder some stressful conditions to meet deadlines
and patient/client needs and to meet patient/client and family
individualizedpsychosocial needs. Requires hand-eye coordination
and manual dexterity.*Working Conditions: *Works in health care
facility or patients/clients homes in various conditions; possible
exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious disease; ability
to work a flexible schedule; ability to travel locally; some
exposure to bad weather.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $85,000.00 per
