This is an excellent opportunity for experienced OR nurses seeking travel nursing jobs in Texas healthcare./n /n/nSan Antonio OR RN Job Details/n /n - Location: San Antonio, Texas 78201/n - Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract/n - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse/n - Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Operating Room/n - Shifts: 8-hour day shifts (06:30-15:00), Monday-Friday with variable/flex On-Call/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - On-Call Requirements: One weekday on-call per week (17:00-06:30) and one weekend on-call every 3-4 weeks (Friday 17:00 – Monday 06:30)/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week/n - Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1750-$1870/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (temporary licenses not accepted)/n - BLS and ACLS certifications required/n - Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including CT surgery/n - Experience with General, Orthopedic, and Spine surgeries/n - Proficiency with Balloon Pump and Total Joint Surgery procedures/n - Ability to float to other nursing units as needed/n - Preferred: CNOR certification, Meditech EMR experience, Mako Robot experience, and scrub experience/n /n/nOR RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the Operating Room/n - Assist with CT, Orthopedic, Spine Trauma, and General Surgery procedures/n - Operate and monitor specialized surgical equipment, including Balloon Pumps and Mako Robots/n - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes/n - Accurately document patient care activities in Meditech EMR/n - Participate in on-call rotation and float to other hospital units as required/n - Comply with facility dress code and infection control protocols/n /n/n /n Experience the vibrant culture of San Antonio, Texas, while working in a top-rated healthcare facility.
