The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Providing support and leadership for the manufacture of market leading healthcare products for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy such as Ulta, ActiVAC and ActiVAC RTM. This position’s initial focus will be improving flow in the repair operations and warehousing processes, to include time studies and lean value engineering. Identifying causes of product and repair problems and collaborating with Quality and Sustaining Engineering to implement solutions Leading cross-functional teams to improve products and processes Monitoring product and process capabilities and developing plans for continuous improvement Supporting daily device repair operations operations Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of experience in industrial engineering, general engineering, or manufacturing engineering in a private, public, government, or military environment Or High School Diploma/GED AND (6) six years of experience in manufacturing within a medical, pharmaceutical , or other regulated business in a private, public, government, or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience in medical device technologies or electronics repair. Experience with cGMP, nonconforming material, corrective action, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), root cause analysis, product transfer, project management and risk management. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) Skills include statistical data analysis, process and equipment troubleshooting, technical writing, excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation) Proven track record of process improvement, project management, and leading teams. Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 - $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
