Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)
ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and
coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the
designated shift. In collaboration with other with established
policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and
models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to
support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes
that contribute to overall departmental performance. Job Functions:
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate,
evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered
care. - Reflects core values when interacting with co-workers,
patients, family members, and others in the community to foster an
environment where employees are engaged and where patient care is
unparalleled. - Leads in a way that inspires commitment to the
vision/mission/values of the organization. - Represents the
organization positively within the community; participates in

Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of
staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established
productivity guidelines. Supports proper inventory control and
assists with managing supplies and equipment. - Ensures compliance
with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. - Supports
the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System.

learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and
rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all

supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of
equipment, tools or materials encompassed by job duties; and must
check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a
question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.

Growth: Access ongoing education in neurocritical care nursing,
stroke management, and advanced neurological assessments, with
opportunities for certification (CNRN, SCRN). What is required: -
Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate
degree in nursing required - BSN preferred - Minimum of 1 year
working as a Registered Nurse (RN) required - 3 years of RN
experience in an ICU setting preferred - Current Texas licensure as
a Registered Nurse required. If Compact RN license, must have TX RN
