for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a
Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for
a locum tenens opportunity in Fredericksburg, Texas. This
assignment offers 12-hour shift coverage with both day and night
shifts available. Come be a part of a dedicated team providing
high-quality emergency care in a welcoming and scenic Texas Hill
Country setting. Position Details: Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Coverage: 24-hour coverage (AM and PM shifts) Assignment Type:
Ongoing locums, considered prn or “as needed”- no finite contract
end date. Patient Population: All ages- Rural setting Annual ED
Volume: 10k- 12k EMR System: Meditech Travel: All travel expenses
reimbursed 100% on top of rate (flights, hotel, mileage or rental
fuel, parking, tolls) Responsibilities: Provide high-quality
emergency care to patients of all ages Diagnose and treat a broad
range of acute conditions Work collaboratively with nurses, APPs,
and support staff Maintain thorough and timely documentation
Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency
Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM preferred; will consider FM/IM with EM
experience in rural settings) Active Texas medical license (or
ability to obtain) Current DEA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
required Emergency Medicine experience required Nestled in the
