One of the best in the medical field! - Five (5) paid days off for Professional Education annually = 1 week - Twenty-one (21) accrued Paid Time Off days = 4 weeks and 1 day - Eight (8) paid Holidays annually = 1 week and 3 days - One (1) paid Personal Float Day annually - Benefits coverage includes group medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, long-term and short-term disability insurance, life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance, individual supplemental insurance, college tuition discounts, paid time-off, holiday pay and more. - In addition, eligible providers may qualify for CME reimbursement and CME time off. - 401(k) and 457(b) retirement programs kick in after 90 days - 87% retention rates for our providers About the Internal Medicine - Rheumatologist role: - Team Size- 2 Rheumatologists and one NP Rheumatologist - Full time patient load- 14 for a rheumatologist – 16 for a mid-level. - Procedures: infusions, joint injections- no hospital responsibilities - The Rheumatologist is an Internist that received further training in the diagnosis (detection) and treatment of musculoskeletal disease and systemic autoimmune conditions commonly referred to as rheumatic diseases that can affect the joints, muscles and bones causing pain, swelling, stiffness and deformity. - The Rheumatologist provides quality, comprehensive health care services to the Center’s patients. - Functions appropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other provider and staff. Job Qualifications - Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas - M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy and completion of an Internal Medicine residency program. - Must be board certified or be eligible for board certification in Rheumatology - Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine highly preferred - Annual continuing medical education as required by Board specialty - Must be registered and have current DEA and other such certificates to legally operate a practitioner in the State of Texas - Hospital privileges at designated area hospitals if required for specialty - Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred - Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association - Scheduled hours and/or work locations are subject to change Contact: david@nowhealthcare.org 843 494 1253 Community Description: - 1.5 million people, home of The Alamo, San Antonio is known for its affordability, high safety rating, amazing food scene, and relaxing way of life.
