About the Role As the Nursing Director for Cardiac/Telemetry Services, you'll lead a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional, compassionate care. You'll oversee day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning for one to two departments, ensuring quality outcomes and staff engagement while maintaining a culture of collaboration and accountability. Your leadership will influence: Clinical excellence: Drive evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives. Team development: Recruit, mentor, and empower top nursing talent. Operational success: Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians, department leaders, and executive leadership to achieve organizational goals. What You'll Bring Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or a related field Experience: Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiac, telemetry, or a related specialty Preferred: 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership or management experience Licensure/Certifications: Current Texas RN License (will consider candidates with compact license) Specialty or Nurse Executive certification (preferred) Active BLS certification (AHA required within 60 days of hire) Why Join Us Be part of a nationally recognized health system committed to clinical excellence and community service.
