Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,933 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) - C-Section circulation - SVE competency - 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery on a contract basis. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends. There is no call requirement for this role. Candidates must have certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE. Intermediate fetal monitoring experience is required. The unit consists of 32 beds with a staff of 150. Staffing ratios accommodate 1:1 or 1:2, depending on the shift. Required skills include EFM and C-Section circulation. Preferred candidates will have internal monitor placement competency and experience in a high-volume unit. The unit performs various procedures, including SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. Ideal candidates will be team players with a positive attitude. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs, with solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts acceptable. Candidates should adhere to the attendance policy.
