Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Trauma ICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel CONTRACT - RN - SHOCK TICU (651) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00A-7:00P Saint David's South Austin Hospital Austin, TX 13 weeks Days, ICU, No Call Required Tell us about the unit(s): - Number of Beds - 10 - Number of Staff – - Type of staff: - Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RN’s - Night Shift – 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RN’s - Patient Ratios – 1:2 or 1:1 - Type of equipment – GE Bedside Monitors, Alaris Pumps, - EMR – Meditech Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Be able to perform and document patient assessments, create and revise plan of care, document outcomes and patient responses, administer and document mediations, and implement physician orders correctly. - Escalate patient issues correctly and efficiently. - Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHHS.
