Pay: $2,470 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Unit Information: Imaging, Radiology & CT Location: Hill Country Address: 1020 S State Hwy 16, Fredericksburg, Texas 78624 Floor: 1st Building: Hospital General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds licensed for 86 beds Number of Staff 28 imaging staff Type of staff: o CT & X-ray is 7 days a week 24-hour coverage. Staffing for 2 technologists in CT & 2 in X-ray during day hours and 1 on nights Patient Ratios Technologist will perform exams on outpatients, inpatients, and emergency patients. Type of equipment CT is a GE 64 slice unit, X-ray equipment is Carestream, C-Arms are OEC EMR Meditech PACS Merge Unity Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. competent in all areas of diagnostic radiography & computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and modality technical factors. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Ability to perform fluoroscopy exams. Willing to use the C-arm in the OR Ability to perform invasive procedures in CT List typical procedures performed on unit(s): All CT exams with & without contrast including CT angiography. X-ray exams using fixed and mobile x-ray units Best personality Fit: Work focused, Teamwork minded, professional, collaborative REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Medical Radiologic Technologist General Certificate from Texas Medical Board (TMB) Radiography (R) & Computed Tomography (CT) certifications from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Floating Area(s): Work between X-ray and CT while supporting the imaging department within the hospital.
