Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN-NICU to join our faith-based healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing innovative and personalized care in a supportive and advanced neonatal environment. As a NICU nurse at Ascension, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our most vulnerable patients newborns who require specialized attention. You will work within a network that values transformative healthcare and empowers its staff to excel professionally while fulfilling a vital community service. Provide critical care to newborns in the NICU with various medical conditions. Monitor vital signs and recovery progress of infants and communicate effectively with parents and the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and oversee the use of medical equipment. Partake in multidisciplinary teams to review and optimize patient care plans. Educate parents on infant care and ongoing medical needs or treatments. Maintain detailed patient records and comply with all legal and safety protocols. Exceptional knowledge of neonatal care techniques and protocols. High proficiency in using NICU medical equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in stressful and emotionally intense situations. Skills in organizing and multi-tasking. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. NICU certification (e.g., Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification).
