As an essential part of the surgical team, the Certified Surgical Technologist will work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful surgical procedures and positive patient outcomes. Prepare and sterilize the operating rooms, equipment, and instruments prior to surgery Assist in setting up the operating room with necessary tools and supplies Ensure all instruments and supplies are available and functional before procedure Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies Help prepare patients for surgery, including cleaning and disinfection of incision sites Follow standard safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures Conduct inventory checks and manage surgical tools and supplies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care Proficiency in operating and sterilizing surgical equipment Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and medical terminology Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the operating room Keen attention to detail and high level of manual dexterity Effective communication abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or similar BLS Certification preferred
